SEVENTEEN MINGYU’s SEOUL FASHION WEEK CATWALK LOOKS

Seventeen is rising to the top once again! With their airing of One Fine Day Season 2 and their increasing fandom, it seems they’re now being recognized for their fashion! Seventeen’s Mingyu recently ‘walked the walk‘ for Hera’s 2017 Fall/Winter Seoul Fashion Week with fellow members Vernon and S.Coups supporting him. Let’s check out some of Seventeen Mingyu’s Seoul Fashion Week looks, straight from the catwalk!

This first look is formal, and it seems to be a take on the cross dressing trends in Europe’s fashion industry, especially with the use of that chic black beret.

There is the use of two colors: black and blue, and there is a clear line separating the two: top and bottom. This creates a very runway-esque style, where you tend to stray away from mixing and matching to make a bolder statement.

This outfit seems to focus all on longer lengths. Mingyu’s glitzy top is longer in length,  his black coat is oversized for that trendy look, and his blue pants are left baggy for an overall glam gentleman finish.

This look is more casual, especially for runway fashion.

This time, instead of a beret, it’s a classic dad cap with a velvet finish. Instead of the long, flowy top we have a velvet textured hoodie with graphics sewn on; and instead of dressy blue, we have baggy black sweats that hug the ankles.

All of these fabrics and styles scream comfort, which is a priority for busy idols who go to schedule after schedule.

Needless to say, Mingyu received praise and admiration for his outstanding performance and poise as a model on the runway, so maybe we’ll be seeing him more often on the catwalk!
