BTS’ Blood, Sweat, Tears was an epic turning point for the seven membered Kpop boy band, and it quickly shot Bangtan to stardom, winning them numerous awards. The first thing many newcomers take note of in the MV is the unique outfit and fashion styles worn by Rap Monster, Jin, Suga, Jhope, Jungkook, V, and Jimin. BTS Blood, Sweat, Tears printed suits just might be the next turning point in the fashion world.
- JIN
What do you think of Jin’s two suits for Blood, Sweat, and Tears?
The first is one he wears in the MV, with silver/white-lined patterning stitched onto the sides for a symmetrical look.
The second look is from the teasers released from Big Hit, and Jin also wore this outfit for stage performances. The suit itself is black with red and white flowers stitched across its design.
- RAP MONSTER
This part of the MV was so visually pleasing, and I can only bring myself to praise the director for these artistic shots. However, the outfit coordinators did their part, too; with Rap Monster’s blue/green patterned suit blending in with the scene so perfectly.
- JIMIN
Jimin just blew us all away in this MV, didn’t he? Whether it’s hair or fashion, BTS’ Jimin always takes the element of surprise to another level, doesn’t he? His patterned suit accentuates an almost post-Greek/Roman style with its artistic designs.

- SUGA
Suga wears a beige colored suit with designs of birds and branches imprinted along the suit. while it might have looked a bit corny if only one pattern was incorporated, the use of the polka-dot pattern makes the suit more modern-looking. The use of this pattern at the edges also creates more dimension to the otherwise one-dimensional suit.
- V
We ALL know, Kim Taehyung had us SHOOK during the whole MV, and just this entire comeback. From his surprise smirk to his little moment with Jin during BTS’ performance at MAMA 2016, V gives us what we like without holding back. This BTS Blood, Sweat, Tears printed suit is definitely worthy of BTS’ title in the industry, with its gold stitched designs and contrasting dark back-color, it’s a suit fit for the kings.
- JUNGKOOK
Jungkook’s patterned suit had designs of white lilacs spread across an overall navy background. The use of the ruffled sleeves was a great idea, with it imitating the lilac design imprinted on his suit. Of all of BTS Blood, Sweat, Tears printed suits, Jungkook’s seems to most obviously have that “printed” texture, but he pulls it off so flawlessly.
JHOPE
Jhope is loved for bringing the fun and happiness into everything, and he plays an important part as the energizer of BTS. Like his personality, his style is also bright and colorful. Jhope’s suit is patterned with an array of multicolored flowers against a black background. The lace-y texture of this patterned suit also makes it light and easy to wear.
