K.A.R.D’s Fashion Throughout the Comebacks

DSP Media’s recent project-group K.A.R.D will reportedly be making their official debut, after about 6 months as being a project co-ed group. Despite coming from a relatively small company, K.A.R.D has experienced success overseas as well as in Korea. The group has had 3 releases so far, “Oh Na Na,” “Don’t Recall,” and “RUMOR.” After 6 months of releases without music show promotions, it’s been reported that they will debut in mid-July.

Before their upcoming debut, should we go over their outfit concepts from the past 3 releases?

For their first “pre-release” single, “Oh Na Na,” the stylists made sure to focus on black colors and leathers. It seems to be reminiscent of the L.A street fashion that you could find in the 90s. For the girls, fishnet stockings, knee-high socks, and killer high stilletos make the fashion all about the legs. As for the overall group fashion concept, black and leather are really the highlights of this era’s fashion. Unless, of course, you’re willing to pull out a fur scarf in the middle of the summer. Other than that, just make sure to remember the excessive leather, black colors, and if you’re a girl, knee-high anything with stilletos.

“Don’t Recall” brought a new sound, and along that comes a change in fashion! Most of the music video was shot in their second shot, with their all-white outfits. Like, the name suggests, the fashion for this shot is mainly to wear all-white but keep these points in mind. For guys, either wear a button-down shirt or something casual with a necklace to change the look to a more classy look. For girls, try fusing casual looks with formal blazers. Don’t forget your shoes and legs too! The fishnet and stilleto concept is still here, just in all-white!

For the other outfits of Don’t Recall, there’s a few points to keep in mind as well. The leather was replaced with velvet-textured suits for the guys, and glittery and metallic dresses for the girls! B.M and J.Seph wear formal wear, but in such bright colors that it almost seems casual. Somin and Jiwoo are still wearing their black stilletos and fishnet stockings, but now they’ve changed their casual streetwear to metallic-textured dresses and glittery dresses. They match black sequins with white floral patterns.

“RUMOR” Fashion Concept

For their final comeback before their official debut, the group went two completely different ways with their fashion for the song “RUMOR.” In the first photo, we see them sporting what seems to be a classed-up version of military fashion. The dark-green is kept in all of their outfits, but each member wears it differently. While B.M and Jiwoo choose to wear tye-dye bomber jackets to add color and have all different textures, Somin and J.Seph are wearing outfits with the same color and similar texture all the way down. Notice that their shoes are all black, but varying textures and styles.

In the second photo, we can see the group styling themselves in more formal wear for the song. Jiwoo and J.Seph wear plain white tees with black pants, with flashy, sequined jackets being their fashion’s killing point. Somin and B.M wear all black, but their clothes seem to have more variation in style. Deep cuts, frills, and waves highlight the two’s fashion.

Make sure to see what pieces of K.A.R.D’s fashion you could use in your outfits!

Follow Eliminated “Produce 101” Trainees on Instagram!

It’s been a long journey for all trainees left on “Produce 101.” From 101 to 68 to 35 to 20, the show has been a rollercoaster of emotions for us fans and trainees alike. Even though there are only 20 trainees left, support for the boys is unwavering. With only episode 11, which will be airing this Friday, remaining in the season, fans are voting with a desperation like never before.

While 20 trainees were able to survive the semifinal elimination round, the majority of the boys have been cut from the show. This is, of course, what caused our love-hate relationship with this show. Goodbyes are waaay to common in the idol world, and we already hate it form day 1. This doesn’t mean that their fans can’t see them anymore! Some of the most popular “Produce 101” trainees have their own personal way to connect with their fans-through Instagram! Follow the trainees below~

Produce 101 Trainee- Noh Taehyun of (HOTSHOT) and Ardor and Able Entertainment

Noh Taehyun was a fan-favorite trainee that was well-known for his superior dance skills, especially in krumping. Dance battles were always easily won by Taehyun! Trainers, trainees, and viewers all loved watching his famous krump dance. However, he was unfortunately eliminated in episode 10. Fans of Taehyun should follow his account @roh_taehyun and keep supporting his current group HOTSHOT!

Produce 101 Trainee- Lee Woojin of Media Line Entertainment

If there’s any trainee out there that will make you feel bad about yourself, trainee Lee Woojin is definetely the one! An 03 liner, he showed off his talent on the show, even though he is only 13 years old internationally. If anyone is feeling unmotivated, try thinking of Woojin and other trainees of the like. Although he too was recently cut from the show’s 10th episode, fans still aren’t ready to say goodbye just yet. (Including me). Follow his instagram account @the_greatest_woojin to get updates from the rising star! Woojin seems to be consistent in his dailiy updates, so you won’t be disappointed if you follow!

I’m pretty sure that there may be more eliminated trainees have Instagram accounts, but these trainees were the only ones I was able to confirm. If any other fans are able to confirm other trainees’ accounts, please let us know in the comments section below!

Kahi Praises Kim Samuel of “Produce 101”

Produce 101 Season 2 has been gaining a lot of attention lately. We’re all aware of which trainees are fan favorites, but what about the trainers? Dance trainer Kahi showed a lot of support for trainee Samuel Kim’s talent.

Kahi guest-starred in the 46th episode of MBC’s “Video Star, which aired on May 23rd. There she gave a surprising amount of praise for a trainee that had caught her eye in”Produce 101 Season 2.” The trainer was well-known for her strict guidance to the “Produce 101” trainees, but it seems a particular trainee was able to earn her praise.

When asked for the trainee that caught Kahi’s eye throughout the show, Kahi responded that trainee Samuel Kim of Brave Entertainment gained her attention, stating that no matter what she taught him he would always deliver well and that when performing, he already had “his own personal talent and charm that isn’t able to just be taught, no matter how long.”

Fans may know of Samuel from his appearence on “Produce 101 Season 2,” as well as on Seventeen TV.  Samuel was originally part of the lineup for Pledis’ boygroup Seventeen, but left later due to personal reasons. (Cries). He also previously debuted in the group 1PUNCH as Punch, but the group later disbanded. Samuel has released the EP “The Anthem” while in 1PUNCH, as well as “Spotlight” with Silento.

Samuel has been hearing many praises from the trainers, fellow trainees, and the public alike for his talent. It seems like a bright future is ahead of the 15 year-old! He is currently in 5th place as of episode 10 of “Produce 101.” If possible, be sure to vote for him and watch the 11th and final episode of “Produce 101!” The 11th episode marks the final debut lineup. Tune in next week to find who will make the top 11! We’ll be able to see Samuel’s self-made choreography to his team’s song “Super Hot!” If that isn’t enough motivation, I don’t know how else I can convince you.
