SEVENTEEN THE8’S CHERRY TINTED HAIR

SEVENTEEN is a Kpop idol group that’s been steadily gaining popularity, and with each members’ lovable personalities, more have been proudly adopting the “Carat” title. SEVENTEEN has released numerous songs, including: Adore U, Mansae, Very Nice, and most recently: Boomboom. During Boomboom promotions back in December, SEVENTEEN participated in a ‘Going Seventeen’ mini album showcase, where Minghao – aka Seventeen THE8’s cherry tinted hair went on display to the public… and it’s hard not to fall in love with it.

 

THE8’s hair color is a bit different from the usual (reds, yellows, purples) dyes we’ve seen before, with some angles reflecting a dark cherry, almost plum-like color.

It seems this isn’t just a one tone dye, but it’s mix of different shades from a similar color scheme, which is what creates this deeper tone.

 

 

A little while later, during the same promotions, THE8 (aka Minghao) surprised fans with this cherry red hairstyle. The color here is a more bright red with a brownish tint.

 

These cherry tinted hairstyles are the perfect winter-transitioning-spring hairstyle. In winter, the hair color trends tend to stick to darker schemes and in the spring, the lighter colors start trending again. The dark plum and the cherry red… what can I say? It’s the best of both worlds~
