Produce 101 Season 2 has been gaining a lot of attention lately. We’re all aware of which trainees are fan favorites, but what about the trainers? Dance trainer Kahi showed a lot of support for trainee Samuel Kim’s talent.

Kahi guest-starred in the 46th episode of MBC’s “Video Star, which aired on May 23rd. There she gave a surprising amount of praise for a trainee that had caught her eye in”Produce 101 Season 2.” The trainer was well-known for her strict guidance to the “Produce 101” trainees, but it seems a particular trainee was able to earn her praise.

When asked for the trainee that caught Kahi’s eye throughout the show, Kahi responded that trainee Samuel Kim of Brave Entertainment gained her attention, stating that no matter what she taught him he would always deliver well and that when performing, he already had “his own personal talent and charm that isn’t able to just be taught, no matter how long.”

Fans may know of Samuel from his appearence on “Produce 101 Season 2,” as well as on Seventeen TV.  Samuel was originally part of the lineup for Pledis’ boygroup Seventeen, but left later due to personal reasons. (Cries). He also previously debuted in the group 1PUNCH as Punch, but the group later disbanded. Samuel has released the EP “The Anthem” while in 1PUNCH, as well as “Spotlight” with Silento.

Samuel has been hearing many praises from the trainers, fellow trainees, and the public alike for his talent. It seems like a bright future is ahead of the 15 year-old! He is currently in 5th place as of episode 10 of “Produce 101.” If possible, be sure to vote for him and watch the 11th and final episode of “Produce 101!” The 11th episode marks the final debut lineup. Tune in next week to find who will make the top 11! We’ll be able to see Samuel’s self-made choreography to his team’s song “Super Hot!” If that isn’t enough motivation, I don’t know how else I can convince you.

1MILLION DANCE STUDIO FASHION-May J Lee and Sori Na

Most Hallyu fans have probably at least heard about 1Million Dance Studio, and maybe have even seen a few of their popular videos. If not, I’ll fill you in. As you’ve probably guessed, this is a dance studio based in Seoul. The studio burst in popularity in the fall of 2015, when a choreography for 5th Harmony’s song Worth It was released. Since then, the small studio has been bursting with popularity, with over four million subscribers and 73 million views on their most popular videos.

Today I’ll be briefly going over one of the outfits of May J Lee, the creator of the famous “Worth It” choreography that shot the studio to fame.

This outfit was worn while she was featured in one of Lia Kim’s choreographies for Dawin and Silento’s “Dessert.”

As seen above, her outfit is pretty simple, as most of the 1Million crew’s outfits are. They seem to favor the Adidas brand quite a bit, so they may be sponsored by the brand.

The sweater is Adidas’ Retro Gold Cropped Pullover Hoodie, which sells for about $60.

As for the leggings, I don’t know what exactly they are, but they could be any old pair of leggings. Instead of finding the exact pair of black leggings, I decided to add in a pair of leggings that Sori Na from 1Million wore during her choreography video for iKon’s “My Type.”

The leggings are probably also from Adidas. These are the Adidas Originals 3 Stripes Leggings, selling for about $35 at various different sites.

That was the review for today! I hope everyone enjoyed the review, and if you were wondering about any other of the 1Million member’s outfits, comment a request below!
