Female Kpop Idols Wearing Ultra Violet- Color of 2018

It’s January 1st, which means that it’s the beginning of a new year! And with every new year comes new fashion trends and inspiration. One major fashion trend that always changes is the color and pattern choices that everyone wears! We, of course, all like to use the official color of the year that is announced annually by Pantone. Last year’s official color of the year was “Greenery,” and with the announcement of that new color, new fashion and makeup looks were created, and this year is no different! This year’s color of the year is “Ultra Violet,” which is a deep, other-worldly purple shade. I personally don’t have a ton of purple clothes, but I do really want to give this color a try! “Ultra Violet” has been worn before by many Kpop idols in stunning ways, so why not give it a go this year? If you’re struggling to find the outfit inspiration, don’t worry, we’ve got you covered! Take a look at Female Kpop Idols Wearing Ultra Violet, and see if you find anything that you want to wear!

Female Kpop Idols Wearing Ultra Violet

Red Velvet’s Irene

Irene is a visual goddess for 3rd generation female idols, and it’s hard to find someone that wouldn’t want her style! Her group, Red Velvet, is well-known for their quirky music and fashion, and visuals like hers manage to pull off anything that gets thrown in her direction. Here, she’s wearing a super wearable, winter outfit, with a warm sweater and a blue, black, and purple overall skirt. Of course, if you want to give it a go, it might be smarter to wear leggings instead of stocking, just so you don’t freeze out in the cold, but this is a solid look!

Blackpink’s Jennie

Jennie is also a member of the 3rd generation’s visual team, so it’s no surprise she pulls this color off perfectly as well! Here, she’s wearing a ruffled, silky top that gives off mature and sophisticated vibes.

Twice’s Jihyo

Jihyo went for a softer, more feminine take on the ultra violet trend. She chose a simple white blouse as her top, and then added a patterned skirt with all shades of purple! It’s cute and simple!

Lovelyz’s Kei

Kei, and all of Lovelyz, pulled off the Ultra Violet color in the cutest way possible! They went for the “schoolgirl” look, but with all shades of purple! Ruffles in their blouses and blazers definitely made the color look super flattering and cute!

Blackpink’s Rose

Rose wore the purple in a much more hip and androgynous way than what we’ve seen so far. Her oversize purple sweater, paired with what looks like red gym shorts, looks so comfortable, yet chic, at the same time! Anyone that wants a more laid-back look can definitely try this outfit out!

AOA’s Seolhyun

Seolhyun is also a household name within the visual world of Kpop, and it’s pretty easy to see why. I mean, is there any outfit that doesn’t look good on her? Out of all the outfits of female kpop idols wearing ultra violet, I think this one is my favorite. Seolhyun keeps it simple and classy in this outfit, with a sleek, mesh-like, sleeveless top, and this beautiful wrap-around skirt! Since she kept all her other outfit choices low-key, the color of her skirt really was able to stand out!
