With the latest episode of the Kdrama : Legend of the Blue Sea airing soon, fans will soon be experiencing withdrawal symptoms often labeled as Post-Series Depression. To help relive those happy moments spent with Lee Min Ho, here is a tutorial on how-to style Lee Min Ho’s hairstyle as shown in the drama!
Get THIS Look!
How To:
After parting hair as desired, differentiate where you will put volume and where you will leave it to lay flat. It’s recommended to flatten the sides of your hair so that the hairstyle doesn’t end of looking too poofy. (To do this, take a blow dryer and face the hot air downwards.)
Starting from the top point of your head, take a straightener and curl it outwards in a half-circle. (TIP : twisting the straightener faster towards the ends of hair will create a natural wave) To create a natural look, leave front hair as is, or slightly curl it outwards.
Put waves throughout the section you want volume, which you separated in Step 1.
After curling, take a blow dryer on the low setting and carefully let the curls settle into place. Take a wax, gel, or essence of your choice to help the curls look natural.
You can take your hand and ruffle those curls into place and loosen hairs that are too curly.
To help the hairstyle stay in place throughout the (windy) day, take a hairspray and lightly spritz where you want to keep the volume.
And there you go!
Transformation complete! Now all you need is a mermaid girlfriend and a wicked stepmother !
