Yesterday, we made a lookbook of all of Seveneen Joshua’s hair colors, and I noticed that he had a similar part! For almost all the hair colors Jisoo tried, he’s paired it with with this exact hairstyle. While he has his hair down a lot of the time, he has this hairstyle a lot as well! Compared to his hair down, it makes him look a lot older and mature. So, take your time and scroll down to look at the gallery of Joshua’s two-block hairstyle, and the different ways that he’s styled the look!
Seventeen Joshua’s Two-Block Hair Style
Predebut
Right before Seventeen’s debut, Jisoo wore this 6:4 part with his dark brown hair. He adds a little bit of a wave right in the middle, so his part is natural but not messy.
Mansae
The ‘Mansae’ era was probably the first time the general public really got to see Joshua’s Two-Block cut. His hair is much straighter and has a really defined part here! Since there isn’t any waves or curls in it, Joshua’s two-block cut is neat and clean.
2016 Calendar
Here, Jisoo kept more of a vague 6:4 part than a complete two-block cut. But, I thought that it was a really unique way to style it, so here it is! His part here is hidden and a bit messy. Most two-block cuts don’t have bangs, but he manages to make the two-block cut look very soft and natural here!
2016 Calendar
Jisoo has the two-block cut in a unique way here as well! He has half of his hair curled and half of his hair in more of a straight style, for a more messy look. He has a basic two-block cut, but his added perm on top makes his hair look a lot more natural.
Very Nice
For ‘Very Nice,’ he had the two-block cut with his famous grapefruit hair color! For here, he has his hair completely straight as well. Most of Jisoo’s hair is is slicked back, but he has his last bang curl up right next to his left eye. It adds a bit more of a fun look to the usually clean-cut look.
Don’t Wanna Cry
Here, Jisoo’s two-block cut is is different again. The right half of his style is thicker, with a bit of a wave, but his left side is what is a lot more different. The back of his hair has some flyaway chunks, and he also has a lot of wisp bangs as well.
His part here is the typical two-block cut, but his bangs are in a lot of different sections. If you look closely at the picture Jisoo’s bangs are thinner, and there’s a lot of his bangs sectioned around.
For the last two looks, Jisoo has the two-block cut, but with a lot of layers. The layers and the waves in his hair add a lot of dimension and soften his features.
That’s all for today! I hope you enjoyed the gallery that we had. If you have a two-block cut, I think that his different styles will help for adding a bit more variety.
Here’s some random gifs of Jisoo during the Aju Nice era just for pure aesthetic reasons.
