BTS Jungkook’s Hair Color Changes Over the Years

Are you ready to look at everyone’s favorite idol group’s maknae and Jungkook’s hair? Keep reading!

Since BTS is all the rage this year and for years to come, it’s only right that we post a couple articles on them! There hasn’t been much update on BTS in general, since they’re no currently promoting. However, they did earn a spot on TIME’s list of the Most Influential People on the Internet. And Rap Monster’s having an upcoming collab with Wale. And there’s the same old news that they topped the male group brand rankings again. I guess even when they aren’t particularly busy, there’s always updates on the group.

The member that we’ll be reveiwing today is the maknae, Jungkook! He’s mostly kept his hair colors pretty natural, since he did start off as an idol at a younger age. His colors are usually on the brown to black spectrum, so it’s great for those looking for a natural but great looking new color! Take a look at the gallery below to find some inspiration from different Jungkook’s Hair colors!

Honey Blonde and Brown

Jungkook’s hair color here is a mix of honey brown and blone. He has the honey brown color as his base and adds platinum blonde highlights. This is probably one of his flashiest colors.

Black

It’s probably impossible to find any idol that has never had their hair dyed black, and for good reason. Black is probably the closest color to his Jungkook’s natural hair color, so it doesn’t surprise anyone when he look so good in it.

Diry Blonde

This dirty blonde color is light enough to give a fresh feel to the look, but it also isn’t a blindingly bright color. Even if your original hair color is much darker, dirty blonde can definetely give a natural look like it does to Jungkook here.

Burgundy/Red

Jungkook’s purple and red hair color that he sported during the Skool Luv Affair mini album promotions were one of his wildest hair colors to this day. Here, his hair look much more red-tinted than purple, but it looks like his color changed depending on the light. Some other pictures give more of a purple tint that a red. It’s a unique color that might be scary to get, but idols like Jungkook seem to always be able to pull it off.

Hazlenut Brown

Although it’s another brown hair color like the first picture, this color is a bit darker and warm-toned. The color look really natural as well, so if anyone is looking for a more natural color, this would be for you!

Purple

Jungkook’s hair during their “Dope” promotions was a deep purple. It started off as a very strong and dark color, but as the dye wore off, there was a combination of purple and dark brown. Later, like in the second picture, the dark purple wore off into a lighter lavender tone.

Chestnut Brown and Pink Highlights

For their most recent comeback, Jungkook sported this unique combination of colors. He used a light, toastes chestnut brown for his base color, and added the pink highlights. In the music video his highlights were a stronger pink, but it seems like he let the dye fade out over time so that it blended in with the rest of his hair.

Hope you enjoyed the post of Junkook’s hair colors! He definetely has a lot of natural colors, so I think this post would be really helpful for a lot of people. Which color do you want to try out the most?

All About the “Comma Hair” Trend

Chanyeol of EXO's hairstyle, the comma hair trend craze in Korea

This currently trending men’s hairstyle in South Korea is a favorite among many kpop idols and Korean actors overtaking the world with the Hallyu wave. Members of kpop groups EXO, Got7, and BTS; along with actors of kdramas: Moonlight Embraces the Clouds, Remember, and movies : I Married an Anti-Fan, Master, along with other numerous celebrities, have sported this chic, classy style, and it is quickly becoming the hottest 2016 hair craze. This hairstyle complements an effortlessly casual or even a business formal look for any event. Here are a few Korean actors and kpop idols who have made this look their own at formal gatherings, photoshoots, and while going about their everday lives.

What is the so called “comma hair” craze?

This trend is called the “comma” hair trend because of how the hairstyle looks with the front portion of the hair curled inwards, resembling a comma. This trendy hairstyle helps to make your face look smaller and more angular, while also putting emphasis on your jawline.

Here are a few Korean celebrities who have been seen rocking this new hair trend for men.

EXO – Chanyeol

Chanyeol of popular kpop group EXO sported this hairstyle at many events, including Monster and Lotto promotions. His comma hair is emphasized by his wavy hair texture, and the comma section of his hair is curled inwards, but not to the extent that it’s a C shape. It’s on the more natural side, and his clothes also complement a more casual look.

GOT7 – Mark

Mark of kpop boy band Got7 also sports this hair trend during fan meetings and promotional activities, and most recently during Hard Carry promotions. His “comma hair” is not as obvious, and gives a softer feel to his style. His messy-wavy hair gives volume to the comma portion of his hair, and brightens up the left side of his face. Also, Mark’s deep, side part gives him a more “bad-boy” aura.

BTS – Jungkook

The golden maknae, Jungkook, of rising group BTS (aka Bangtan Boys) was first seen sporting this hairstyle during the War of Hormone era. Jungkook’s hairstyle is a bit different than those seen before in the way that the “comma” portion of his hair starts from the root of his middle, not side, part. Although he has a middle part, he doesn’t curl both sides inwards, but one inwards and the other outwards. This gives a “I woke up like this” feel. Unlike the others’ before, Jungkook’s hair is more straight than wavy.

Actor Park Bo Gum

Park Bo Gum of recently ended Moonlight Embraces the Clouds played the role of a playful prince in the Korean drama, but challenges the role of a sophisticated man in his recent photoshoot with SURE. Park is seen with the comma hair look as well. The “comma” portion of his hairstyle is much smaller and not as noticeable, but once again, the deep side part accentuates the “comma.” His hair is also seen gelled back for a more classy look.

Actor Yoo Seung Ho

Young actor Yoo Seung Ho, who played a boy fighting for his father’s innocence in Remember: War of the Son, had this look for almost the whole drama. The “comma” portion of his hair is not as accentuated. Instead, like Jungkook’s previous hairstyle, Yoo Seung Ho took the left side of his hair and brought it in towards the right side of his face, making it look like a mini comma. This helps to balance the look while making his face look much smaller.

Actor Kang Dong Won

Veteran actor Kang Dong Won has starred in numerous blockbuster hits, with his most recent movie being Master. Kang Dong Won has also participated in this hair trend, and was seen wearing this look at numerous movie conferences and meetups. The comma in his hairstyle is more accentuated than the others’ shown before, and his hair is mostly straight except for the volume given in the front. Almost more than half of his front hair is curled downwards in a C shape, almost looking like bangs. However, he leaves space on the left side of his face so as not to look too “stuffy” and to brighten his image. Kang Dong Won emphasizes this style with his jet-black hair color, which gives a classy, manly feel to his image.

This new Korean hair craze is questioning all those other hair trends only suitable for girls. The trendiest style is the comma hair style, which guys can also be a part of! Get inspiration from your favorite Kdrama actor or Kpop group idol and rock the comma hairstyle!
