It was officially announced in the beginning of 2016 last year. Rose Quartz and Serenity were the colors of the year! And of course, when there’s two colors of the year, it means even more ways to pair the colors! Seventeen announced that their official fandom was going to sport these colors, and other idols hopped onto the Rose Quartz and Serenity trend later on. We’ll be looking over a couple of outfits and haircolors worn by our favorite idols. It’s already past the Rose Quartz and Serenity age in terms of official colors, but their place in fashion is still here! Check out the lookbook of your favorite male idols rocking these two colors below! Keep in mind that most of these idols featured will be wearing the Rose Quartz, since the Serenity is a color that you can see more often.
Seventeen- Rose Quartz and Serenity
For their “Pretty U” showcase, the Seventeen members were decked out in their new official fandom colors! While most of the members wore the Serenity, a couple were brave enough (or their stylists were) to try out the Rose Quartz color! It definetely is a memorable outfit, since it was their own fandom colors!
Seventeen’s Woozi- Rose Quartz
It looks like Woozi already knew Rose Quartz and Serenity would be Seventeen’s official colors all the way in 2015! His cotton-candy textured hair with this soft Rose Quartz tone is paired with Serenity-toned overalls. Their both soft, faded colors, so they’re perfect for a more innocent look like what Woozi’s wearing here.
Seventeen’s Jeonghan and Woozi- Rose Quartz
Seventeen sure has a lot of avid Rose Quartz promoters! Woozi and Jeonghan were spotted with the same sweater, which surprisingly happens to be the Rose Quartz color!
GDragon- Rose Quartz and Serenity
It would hard to make a fashion trend blog for male idols if GD wasn’t in it! Here, he wears a Rose Quartz -colored fuzzy coat. Underneath, he wears a Serentiy-colored button-down.
Nam Taehyun- Rose Quartz
Winner’s former maknae and vocalist of his new band South Club was spotted wearing this outfit. It’s a soft Rose Quartz-colored button-down. His shirt also seems to have some faded plad texture with a darker pink color, so it adds a bit more variety.
BTS’ Jin-Rose Quartz
Now, if I had left Jin out of this post, I’d have some very displeased ARMYs on my blog. Jin has probably worn more pink-toned outfits than most female idols! While a it’s easy for some male idols to feel uncomfortable in this ‘feminie’ color, Jin is never more comfortable than in pink! Here’s two pictures where he wears a Rose Quartz toned suit jacket and warm sweater. He can effortlessly make these two colors look natural and casual.
I hope you had some fun looking through the lookbook! Which male idol do you think the Rose Quartz and Serenity matches best?
