Nu’est is gaining sudden popularity after members appearing on the hit show: Produce 101, and fans of the underrated group couldn’t be any more happier. The group now holds the record for the longest amount of time in getting their 1st music show win, but they’re steadily gaining interest from the public with Nu’est W’s newest release ‘If You’ taking #1 on music charts. They were seen at KBS Music Bank for their rehearsal, and so many were attentive to NUEST W’s fashion sense that’s unique to their group. But first, take a listen to the chart topper “If You” and their latest release “Where You At”!
NUEST W’s Fashion – Ren
Of course, leave it to Ren to shatter gender stereotypes ~ Ren is not new to wearing skirts, as fans would’ve seen from his fashion advertisements, and he even manages to incorporate a skirt? into his outfit here. Although, with the way his outfit is styled, he looks much more manlier here.
Ren combines casual and chic for a look that is so himself. I mean, if I don’t say so myself, it looks like Ren chose the denim while the stylist was like “No, you are NOT going out in a skirt.” Well, I guess they came to an agreement…. Ren’s navy blazer incorporates suit fashion* while his denim “addition” screams casual hipster. Which one’s more Ren? Hmmmm… I’d have to go with the skirt?…
NUEST W’s Fashion – Baekho
The oversized coat* seems to be a popular fashion choice for many idols, with it making the IKON FASHION FAVORITES list multiple times, and not to mention the oversized coat’s appearance on the popular Kdrama Goblin, which just may be credited for popularizing the whole trend.
Baekho seems to be going for a younger look with his outfit; with his lace-up sneakers and cuffed jeans paired with a veryy blue coat.
Not really relevant but, did anyone else know that this “manly man” is only 22?!
NUEST W’s Fashion – Aron
Turtlenecks* are abundant in Korean fashion and are regarded as an essential for your fall closet. Many idols in the Kpop and Kdrama world help this look gain momentum every fall, among them being Park Hyung Sik’s turtleneck fashion in Strong Woman Do Bong Soon.
Aron does a little bit of his own rendition with this turtleneck look, though. Instead of pairing the it with a wool jacket, as is the usual pair, Aron layers it over a simple, graphic sweater for a more casual, next-door-boyfriend look.
NUEST W’s Fashion – JR
Nu’est’s leader doesn’t disappoint, and that includes his fashion, too. For fall, layering* is always a must, and JR is just one of many layered-looks-done-well.
JR keeps it simple with two colors and shades: black as the base and navy blue as the accent. He layers a plain, black T with an untucked navy button up and a blackest-of-black leather jacket for the quintessential “Don’t care that I’m a bad boy” look.
But, seriously, how bad could this boy be? He looks like an angel… I feel like Ren would have suited this look much better, don’t you?
